actually the title of this work is, "Oversoul". Also "Transformations" is confused for "Transfigurations": the title of the book on which this is the cover.

I have my suspicions Grey uses Geometric patterns at the base of his paintings, the intricacy of his lines are too perfect for freehand, even for a master, but besides that, the man's work makes me feel like quitting now and flipping burgers at wendys till I'm 35.

that's originally oil paint, and it's all mostly symmetrical so he probably sketched a big x and y graph on the canvas and went from there.
