the difference is obvious. the originals were oversized and each fit into a single square. the counterfeits did not. the current counterfeits sold as blotter art are also are not the same size as the original.
the original gooneys were defintely still around in '88.

Shady is right on the money. I got ripped off with the fake ones but I also had some real ones as well. Around Phoenixville, PA in 1987-1988. I remember them being average - nothing too great.

i traded one miracle ticket for 4 Birds from a friend...he said tony these are the good hits but there are bunk doses floating @ (HAMPTON)...he had a American Airlines tshirt he had modified...on the back it said
WE LOVE TO FRY & IT SHOWS...and boy could you tell :)
