the difference is obvious. the originals were oversized and each fit into a single square. the counterfeits did not. the current counterfeits sold as blotter art are also are not the same size as the original.
the original gooneys were defintely still around in '88.

Shady is right on the money. I got ripped off with the fake ones but I also had some real ones as well. Around Phoenixville, PA in 1987-1988. I remember them being average - nothing too great.

Boulder Co, late 80's, first time I tripped, didn't feel anything after an hour so I took a second. Then I watched the ground breathing for a few hours. Good times.

Used to get these in the mid-late 80's....some of my first trips ever...
Summer of '88. The images were entirely contained by the squares. I secured several sheets and tried ten at once to start. It was my first bad trip. Good stuff. I was just an idiot. It shook my foundation.

i remember but not in detail. this graphic was definately had on dylan and dead tour around '87 in philly. never bunk, always good. before we started buying bulk. i wish i kept 1 hit from every sheet i ever had just for memories. they were what .30 each in bulk. less than a digital photo now.

Bought some of this on a sheet of 100 in San Fran 1985. It was nothing to write home about and the image was on each hit unlike the image here. Been 20 years and no L of good quality here.
